Methods of payment

You may make payments online or in-person. We do not accept credit card payments over the phone.

• Online payment with credit cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Credit card payments are subject to transaction fees listed below:
  • Minimum transaction fee: $1.49 for charges up to $67
  • Transaction fee for charges over $67: 2.22%
• Checks. Please make sure checks are payable to "County of Santa Clara." You may mail the check to our office at:
